2018 and 2019
The Yukon is a place of raw, untamed wilderness that truly embodies the spirit of adventure.
It is a landscape unlike any other, with rugged peaks and glaciers that reach toward the sky, crystal-clear rivers that snake through dense forests, and expansive tundras dotted with wildflowers.
The region is home to an incredibly diverse range of wildlife, from majestic caribou herds to powerful grizzly bears and everything in between.
The northern lights add an otherworldly element to the already mesmerizing scenery, painting the night sky with brilliant greens and purples that dance around as if they are strokes from god.
For an adventure photographer, the Yukon is a dream destination and offers endless opportunities for capturing breathtaking images and documenting the beauty and majesty of the natural world.
And believe it or not, it’s only a two-hour flight away from Vancouver.
Throughout 2018 and 2019, I had the opportunity to head to the Yukon on multiple occasions to chase the auroras and all I can say is that every time I saw them, it felt like an experience from a movie.
